Compliance Home Page

Compliance with regulations and standards is considered one of the most important foundations and success factors for organizations of all types and sizes. It maintains the organization’s reputation and credibility and the interests of its employees and customers (both internally and externally); and protects it from penalties. Compliance is a comprehensive and multifaceted responsibility and its commitment lies with all corporate organizational levels ranging from the Board of Directors and senior management to all employees, according to their levels of authority and their duties and tasks. Successful compliance management is one of the cornerstones of corporate business and projects. This applies more effectively in practice as it is done through the legal frameworks, instructions, policies and rules that guarantee the public interest of the company and its customers at all levels. The application of this concept by the management of the company is reflected in good management and quality control. Dealing with compliance requirements must be among the basic skills the management of any company possesses, and should be given due attention, which is achieved through: contributing to the risks of non-compliance, in particular systemic risk, reputation risk and the risk of financial penalties; strengthening the relationship with the regulatory authorities; establishing flawless management approaches in enterprises; creating mechanisms and frameworks that ensure facing crimes; and through maintaining the values and practices of professional work.
All employees should have the highest ethical standards and proper professional conduct within and outside the workplace, considering that the service they provide is entrusted to them. The objective of this service is to serve citizens (in benefit of the public interest) in accordance with the laws and regulations in force, and in collaboration with the company's compliance department, as the obligation is not only the responsibility of the management of the department, but should also extend to include all the organizational levels in all companies. Employees should also uphold the highest principles of ethical conduct in all affairs with the entities that are dealt with, and abide by the provisions of the policy, procedures and work ethics.
It is therefore necessary that each employee, during the performance of his or her duties, follows a proper course of conduct, in accordance with the standards declared in the regulations and frameworks which ensure continuity of the work, and presents it in a decent manner that suits the reputation, size, goals and values which represent the company.
