-In light of the provisions of the Electricity Law No. 87 of 2015 and its executive regulations, and the results of the practical application of the rules for connecting the main electrical supply to residential and non-residential establishments on medium and low voltages during the past ten years.
In its seventh meeting for the fiscal year 2019/2020, held on 3/2/2020, the Board of Directors of the Authority approved updating the main electrical supply connection guide for residential facilities.
-The guide is a comprehensive reference for all procedures and rules for connecting the main electrical supply to residential and non-residential facilities, the timetable, and the documents required for their implementation.
-This guide is effective from the date of approval by the Board of Directors of the Authority on 3/2/2020, provided that the typical cost value of connecting the electricity supply is reviewed every two years, and the rules for connecting the electrical supply are reviewed every five years.
